Motorhome site "Zum Schloss Rosenau

At the foot of the romantic Rosenau Castle Park is the RV park in Rödental. The newly created facility is centrally located in the Oeslau district. Within ten minutes walk you can reach all necessary facilities for daily needs: supermarket, gas station, restaurant, bistro, shopping center, beer garden, ice cream parlor, car repair shop, train station.

Numerous sights are within walking distance from our campsite. For example, Rosenau Castle and Park, the associated Schweizerei and the European Museum of Modern Glass. The Oeslau domain, a former estate of the former Dukes of Coburg, is also within walking distance, as are the production facilities of the world-famous Hummel Manufaktur company, where you can take part in factory tours, as well as the factory outlet of the Goebel company.

In front of the pitch are the sports facilities of the city as well as the sports community Rödental and only in less than 1.5 KM distance you will find the Rödenbad with sauna and all amenities. Furthermore, the camper site is located on numerous hiking trails, so you can hike or bike in all directions. This good connection also allows you to reach, for example, the Froschgrundsee recreation area, which is located in the north of the city area, just before the border with Thuringia.

But also for the physical well-being is provided in the vicinity of the campsite, so you will find here within walking distance inns, bistros, snack bars or an ice cream parlor.
