This first stage of the charming route begins in idyllic Seeburg in Lower Saxony, where you will stay at the Comfort Camping Seeburger See and from there make your way to Hesse. During your ride you will pass Eddigehausen, where the first sight, the impressive Plesse Castle, will take your breath away. After admiring this historic castle, continue your journey.

The route will take you through the middle of Kassel, where you should definitely stop to admire the imposing statue of Hercules. You will be amazed by the majestic view of the city and the surrounding countryside. Starting in Kassel, the route takes you across Hesse, past picturesque landscapes and through charming little towns. From Darmstadt, you will cross the majestic Rhine River and continue your route on the L420 through the charming southwestern Palatinate region. On the way you will pass picturesque villages and breathtaking scenery. Be sure to stop in Kusel, where the imposing Lichtenberg Castle awaits you. Immerse yourself in history and explore the venerable walls of this medieval fortress.

After your burger conquest you continue your journey to the Saarland, where your next stop, the motorhome port Bexbach, is waiting for you. Take time to get comfortable there and enjoy the amenities of the area. If you feel like a little exploration, we recommend a bike trip from Bexbach to neighboring Homburg to take a closer look at the fascinating Schlossberg caves. These natural caves offer you a unique and mystical experience.

After a restful night, you will continue your journey through the impressive Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve, leaving the Saarland as you cross the Palatinate Forest. You finally reach the next stopover in Trippstadt, the Sägmühle Camping and Leisure Center. Here you can hike the Karlstal Gorge and spend some time in the Palatinate Forest. Your route will take you via Hochspeyer and Bad Dürkheim along the picturesque German Wine Route. On your way you will pass Holiday-Park in Haßloch, a medium-sized amusement park in the Palatinate region that offers fun for the whole family. Finally, you will reach Speyer, a city with a rich history and numerous opportunities for discovery. An absolute must is a visit to the Museum of Technology, which boasts a variety of fascinating exhibits. In addition, you can explore the unique underwater world at SeaLife Speyer and marvel at unique sea creatures.
