In the week from 03. until July 08, 2023, the people of Steinach and their guests now have another week to marvel at and experience the non-ordinary. The open studio is located in the covered castle courtyard and, thanks to numerous sponsors and hard-working organizers, offers an attractive podium for five sculptors. What began in 2006 on the initiative of Volker Sesselmann with a lot of enthusiasm, has become over many years through the support of the Tourism and Trade Association Steinach e.V. and the Municipality of Steinach a permanent feature in the cultural life of the region. The already created artworks of the last symposiums are spread all over the city and can be admired in public buildings and places. A special eye-catcher is the Christmas crib with life-size figures, made according to the pattern of the Marolin company, in 2011 and 2012.
