The Krakovski gozd nature reserve is one of the last large alluvial forest areas in Europe and offers an untouched natural backdrop with a rich diversity of species. The dense forest area is criss-crossed by small streams and ponds that provide a habitat for numerous animal and plant species. Visitors can enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the forest on well-marked hiking trails and encounter rare bird species and other wildlife.
