Botanical garden in Utrecht
The lush botanical garden is located on the edge of the Utrecht Science Park. Here you can hear rippling water and the buzzing of insects while surrounded by hundreds of flowers and plants.
The botanical garden is one of the oldest university gardens in the Netherlands. The garden complex is built around the 19th century Fort Hoofddijk. Throughout the year, the garden is a place for dream festivals, including the music festival "deBeschaving" and the China Light Festival.
