Bled Island is picturesquely situated in the middle of Lake Bled and is an iconic symbol of Slovenia. The island is home to St. Mary's Church, which impresses with its Gothic frescoes and Baroque altars. Visitors can climb the 99 steps to the church and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
