Pustertal & Dolomites

Unique mountain world

The Dolomites - the pale mountains - made of fossilized algae and coral reefs.
Breathtaking and imposing, invite you to adventure. Whether in the charming villages around or directly on the peaks enjoy "excellent" vacation.

South Tyrol, that means snow-covered mountain peaks above palm tree promenades, cappuccino in the piazza, dumplings in the alpine hut, or vice versa. But also lived customs and contemporary trends, listed buildings and modern architecture. The cuisine is a symbiosis of down-to-earth Alpine fare and Mediterranean sophistication. So here it is a matter of course that Schüttelbrot and Grissini are served with dumplings and spaghetti.

Your exciting journey begins in Sesto, from where you will have the opportunity to admire the impressive Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo), one of the most famous landmarks of the Dolomites. On your way to Dobbiaco Lake and Camping Residence Olympia you will cross the picturesque Val Pusteria and experience a magnificent mountain scenery.

Lake Dobbiaco (Lago di Dobbiaco), an idyllic mountain lake, awaits you at Camping Toblacher See. The road there leads along lush meadows and shady forests, giving you the opportunity to enjoy nature to the fullest.

Your journey will take you to Camping Antholz, located near the impressive Lake Antholz (Lago di Anterselva). The biathlon center is also located here. The road winds through the quiet and unspoiled mountain landscape, and the lake itself provides a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and water sports activities.

From here we go to the camping Wildberg. On the way there you will pass Kronplatz (Plan de Corones), a popular ski resort in winter and a hiker’s paradise in summer. The viewing platform at the summit offers a breathtaking panoramic view.

Your trip will take you to Camping Al Plan Dolomites in San Vigilio, in the middle of the Fannes-Sennes-Braies National Park. Here you have access to the imposing Braies Dolomites (Dolomiti di Braies). The road winds through the picturesque Dolomites, which offer breathtaking views.

Finally you will reach the Camping Seiser Alm in Völs am Schlern. From here you can explore the majestic Alpe di Siusi, the largest high alpine pasture in Europe. The road leads you through blooming alpine meadows, and the surrounding peaks offer breathtaking views. Here you will find the unique Schlern massif.

Each of these places and campsites along your route offers unique sights and activities that reflect the beauty and culture of the Dolomite region in many ways. On your journey between these places you will be accompanied by spectacular mountain scenery, charming villages and breathtaking views. This is a trip that will offer you unforgettable experiences amidst the nature of the Dolomites region.
