ORKS AND FEEN on a journey to the Middle Ages

Fairies, trolls and orcs roam the meadow by the torrent in Wiesmoor.
Countless mythological figures from stories of the Middle Ages transport guests to the Middle Ages, an event with costume and fire show.

On Saturday at 9 pm the gate to the Otherworld opens when the figures emerge from a huge tree with a gate. Creatures of old more alive than ever, enchanting the audience and showing where the stories originate. About two hours lasts the show “Night of myths”.

Besides the performance in the evening, there is also a lot to discover during the day. Children can test their skills with bow and arrow. Stalls with typical medieval products such as carved horns, leather and pottery invite you to browse. Medieval music will accompany the event.

We have chosen to cover not only Norse or Greek mythology, but mythology worldwide. Everyone knows the story of King Arthur and Merlin, but there is so much more. Over time, we would like to capture all of them that have ever existed. The world of myths, legends and fairy tales is disappearing, it is falling into oblivion and we would like to prevent this only too gladly.
Because the bedtime stories we tell our children are a thousand times more interesting and exciting than the game on the PC.

Likewise, we will also present a medieval market with various stalls, etc. to the visitors. It will be a colorful hustle and bustle. 😊
