Summer Open Air 2023 WE SALUTE YOU is an AC/DC tribute band that sets new standards worldwide with their elaborate and authentic concerts in honor of the Australian rock legend. Together with British singer Grant Foster, the musician friends realized their vision of an AC/DC live experience for large concert halls and festivals. Just one year after their premiere in 2017, the band was invited to the legendary Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt, the SachsenArena Riesa and the Circus Krone Munich, where AC/DC once performed themselves. In 2022 you were honored to perform at the Donauinselfest Vienna, which is considered the largest open air in the world with 3.5 million visitors. With no less than 21 cannons, a true-to-the-original Hell Bell, the obligatory Marshall amplifier wall and an impressive light and sound system, WE SALUTE YOU come so close to the original stage set of their idols that longtime AC/DC photographer Robert Ellis published the statement “this is the closest thing to the real thing!” after a concert visit. Of course, the five professional musicians do not leave any doubts under musical aspects, because they deal with the sound and performance of their idols since their childhood.
