Since 1998, the museum "Brothers Grimm House" has been established in their former home. The former official residence is a magnificent half-timbered building, embedded in a picturesque courtyard. With modern and interactive means, the life of the Grimm family in the Kinzigtal as well as the scientific work and the fairy tales of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are presented here in an appealing way. A separate section is dedicated to the artistic work of her youngest brother and well-known painter Ludwig Emil Grimm. A tour to the Kinzig reservoir in the immediate vicinity is recommended for cyclists. The Hessian long-distance cycle route R3 also runs along here.
