Motorhome harbour at the NOK district harbour

A touch of industrial camping blows on this pitch, which offers 36 pitches and is also equipped with a high-quality sanitary container and a supply and disposal facility. The site is located in Rendsburg between the railroad high bridge and the Rendsburg harbor directly on the Kiel Canal and reminds a bit of a transshipment port and the flair in the port of Hamburg.

Bike paths

The paved service road along the canal is open to pedestrians and bicyclists and allows for almost full-length, grade-free bike rides on both sides in close proximity to the ships. The Translate to the respective other channel side with one of the numerous ferries is free of charge. This had already been ordered by Kaiser Wilhelm in order to achieve greater acceptance among the population, since the artificial waterway would be older than theter traffic routes intersects. The cycle paths along the Kiel Canal are part of the
German Ferry Route opened in May 2004, an approximately 250-kilometer-long vacation route that runs from Bremervörde on the Oste River to Kiel.

Things to see and experience

Rendsburg High Bridge: The Rendsburg High Bridge is a railroad bridge built between 1911 and 1913, which connects the Nord-Baltic Sea Canal bridged in Rendsburg. The “iron lady” is the landmark of the city of Rendsburg and one of the most important technical monuments in Germany.

Tunnel: A car tunnel and a pedestrian tunnel cross under the canal near Rendsburg. In 1961, the 1,278 m long car tunnel inaugurated. In 1965, pedestrians and cyclists also had their tunnel. You can get into the 130m long tube by elevator or the
