The first campsite in the world to be certified by SGS ICS for the quality of its services is located in Rio Alto, Estela, near the town of Póvoa de Varzim. Direct access to the beach is under a golf course in the middle of the Costa Verde. It has excellent facilities with a mini market, restaurant, bar, self-service, lounges, free swimming pools for customers, 4 sanitary buildings with warm water, over 600 electricity connections and 10 dishwashing facilities. It also has a zone with lots for caravans and mobile homes.
