The mill was built in 1752 and soon became the most important mill in the area. In 1913 the production and operation of the mill was stopped. In 1973, a descendant of Hein and Horst established the foundation. The mill was restored and reopened to the public on October 16, 1975. Today you can see the mill and the production of linseed oil.
