Meyenburg fashion museum

Fashion history from 1900 to 1980 awaits you on 1,000m² of exhibition space. Let yourself be enchanted by dance dresses from the 20s or the "flower power" fashion of the 70s.
The fashion museum in Schloss Meyenburg in Prignitz is unique in the state of Brandenburg. Since 2006, it has housed one of the largest private fashion collections on more than 1,000 square meters. These include dresses, coats, shoes, hats, jewelry, handbags and much more from the collection of Josefine Edle von Krepl. Starting with the multi-colored patterned dresses of the 70s, petticoats and sequin dresses, to the frivolous-piquant dance dresses of the Roaring 20s and the exclusive wardrobe from 1900, the museum shows style and fashion trends of the 20th century in a Europe-wide unique show. Century. Contemporary music, accessories and furnishings complete the items of clothing that are draped and staged on old tailors and mannequins.
