Hann. Münden, as a 3-river town with the Weser, Fulda and Werra rivers, is an ideal starting point for a Fairy Tale Road trip along the Weser, via the Pied Piper town of Hameln to Bremen. Many buildings such as the magnificent Weser Renaissance town hall, St. Blasius Church and over 700 richly decorated half-timbered houses still reflect the history of the town. Themed hiking trails, such as the Frau-Holle-Pfad or the Fulda-Radweg R1 lead from here in the footsteps of fairy tale and legend figures through beautiful landscapes of the Weserbergland with castles, palaces and half-timbered towns.
