The Freyenstein Archaeological Park presents one of the best preserved urban desolations in Central Europe. Excavations and original findings, visualizations and installations convey the image of a planned city from the 13th century. lively. With an audio guide, the visitor can go on a journey through time to streets and houses, to the castle, to the market square or to a city gate. A Wölbacker, gardens with medieval cultures, and a small animal enclosure complete the park, as does an exhibition on food acquisition in pre-industrial times.
