According to the AECOM Theme Index 2019, Europa-Park is ranked 19th among the 25 most visited theme parks in the world and is the second most visited theme park in Europe after Disneyland Paris, as well as the most visited seasonal theme park in the world.The "Golden Ticket Award" jury of the U.S. magazine Amusement Today voted Europa-Park the best theme park in the world for the eighth time in a row in September 2022. On a total area of about 950,000 m², 18 themed areas offer more than 100 rides and several shows. The park includes six hotels, a campground, a teepee village, a movie theater and a conference center.
