Switch off and relax – recreation is a top priority in North Hesse’s Red Riding Hood country. The clear air clears our heads and the healthy, soothing atmosphere of the forest helps us to relax. The Knüll has been a nature park since 2021 and is an ideal place to find your inner balance. The volcanic past has created a beautiful landscape and the large forest areas promote our health, because simply breathing in the terpenes lowers our blood pressure, stress hormones decrease measurably and our muscles relax.

If you don’t like hiking so much, you can of course also hop on your bike and glide comfortably along the railroad cycle path or ride uphill and downhill over hill and dale. On Sunday, 24.03.24, the Knüllgebirgsverein offers a guided mountain bike tour (registration required).

For adrenaline fans, the Bikepark Neukirchen offers a pump track.

After plenty of outdoor exercise, you can relax in warm water or give your immune system a boost in the sauna.

With 28°C warm water, the Neukirchen indoor pool with its exercise pool is also attractive in cool weather and is open until 8 pm.

However, a visit to the sauna must be registered in advance and booked at Saunabad Müller.

On Saturday 23.03.24 a guided hike is offered and in the evening a classic awaits you in the Schwälmer Stubb : our barbecue buffet with a selection of the much-loved barbecue specialties from our menu.
