... and into the capital
mein PLATZ is located on the German east coast with three overnight stays.
The journey begins at Grömitz, where a trip to Kiel or the island of Fehmarn is tempting. But along the „Timmendorfer“ beach it goes to the „Holstentor“ in Lübeck. After you have filled your provisions in the camper with delicious marzipan, you stop in Wismar.
The historical old town, protected by Unesco, invites you to a leisurely stroll through the city, before you park your motorhome in the „Ostseebad Rerik“ or on the campsite in Elmenhorst near Rostock on the east coast. Right the other morning when the engine of your motorhome is still not really warm you can already inspect the architectural monuments of the Hansestadt Rostock.
The Uckermark can be reached via cozy country roads, visiting the Müritz National Park. For the next largest city on this city tour you should finally bring enough time. After all, Berlin´s history is just unique! The memorial „Berlin Wall“ on the „Bernauer Straße“ is only a 20 minutes walk from the mein Platz campsite in the „Hochstraße“.
At the end of the trip, you spend the last night of this trip in a distinguished neighborhood, because the campsite Sanssouci on the Templiner See already reveals with its name which important place of interest in Potsdam is to be visited.
