An overview of our pitches parcels can be found here:
South of Leipzig is a landscape of lakes in recent years. The Cospudener Lake in the West is one of the first flooded areas. The Markkleeberger Lake is with its depth of about 57 m one of the deepest lakes in Leipzig's new lake district. The latest lakes are completely flooded since 2014. This includes southwest of the Zwenkauer Lake and south-east of the Strömthaler Lake. The lakes are connected to each other via rivers and canals and the lake landscape "Leipziger New lake district".
Since May 2013, there is a connection with the Strömthaler Lake with the Markkleeberger Lake. Here a locker was built for the shipping stuff, as the Strömthaler Lake is on a 4 m higher water level. The channel has a bridge with a clearance height of 9.4 m, so even medium-sized sailing boats can pass through. The Strömthaler Lake can be used by private boats without special permission.
