The old town of Nienburg is best explored with a walk on the "Nienburger Bärenspur". Follow the bear paws through the old town and get to know the attractions of Nienburg. The trail takes you past the city's emblem, the Parish church of St. Martin, the town hall from the time of the „Weser-Renaissance“, past the „Stockturm“ and the „Quaet-Faslem-house“. The architectural styles of all epochs from several centuries are reflected in the old town.
Quiet, directly on the west bank of the river Weser (Oyler Straße) with a view of the river and the historic old town of Nienburg (supermarket, building market by the street). A footpath leads to the footbridge of the Weser, which allows you to reach the center within a short time. The campsite is signposted in the city area.

The natural bathing lake "Die Rolle" is located in a nature reserve west of the town of Nienburg / Weser. The lake is on the left-hand side of the river Weser, with no connection to the Weser. It is about 1.5 km within walking distance.

In addition, the nearby dinosaurs park „Münchehagen“, the railway museum in Bruchhausen-Vilsen, the wolf center „Dörverden“, the monastery „Loccum“ and many more attract all visitors. At any time of the year this region offers a wealth of impressions. Events in Nienburg are well known all over the region. Whether it is the asparagus festival, the shooting of the glassdisc at the large potatosalad-eating festival or the old town festival - there is always something for all ages.
