The campsite “Neumannshof” is located in the center of Thuringia, directly on the shore of the Hohenwartestausee, the third largest reservoir in Germany. In absolute tranquility you can enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian landscape in combination with water and forest. Circular hiking trails with many breathtaking viewpoints offer experiences for the whole family.
Long terraced meadow area, divided by hedges, directly on the reservoir, in wooded surroundings, beach about 50 m long and 15 m wide with sunbathing lawns.
Here you will find recreation in a forest and water rich environment. The lake gives interesting hours to the water sportsmen and fishermen. The surrounding area invites everyone to go hiking. On the playground, the little ones can really let off steam while mom and dad enjoy the sun or feast in our restaurant with a view of the playground. Whether young or old, as a couple or a large family …, there is guaranteed something for everyone here and in the surrounding area.
