The family-run campsite at the entrance to the Passeier Valley at 500m above sea level is an excellent starting point for hikers and cyclists with countless possibilities directly from the campsite.
The Hirzer cable car, which takes you up to 2000m in just a few minutes into a magnificent mountain world, is 200m from the campsite, the cycle path goes right past the campsite and the river and the beautiful Maiser Waalweg is ideal for walking to Merano.
The campsite has an indoor and outdoor pool, a Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a beauty department where you can pamper yourself with massages or relax in the hay and whey bath.
There is also a modern, cozy bistro, restaurant & pizzeria attached to the square with a large selection of meat and fish specialties, as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes.
In the well-stocked store you can not only buy regional specialties such as speck, cheese and wine, fresh bread rolls from the Passeier master baker, fruit and vegetables, but also camping articles, toys and natural South Tyrolean cosmetic products.
Guests at Camping Passeier are offered comfortable sanitary facilities and private rental bathrooms. The large pitches and tent pitches with up to 120 square meters have water and in some cases waste water connections.
You will also receive the MeranCard, which gives you free travel by bus and train and access to most of South Tyrol’s museums. The buses run every 15 to 30 minutes.
