Foz do Arelho is located 8 km from the town of Caldas da Rainha, bordering the Atlantic Ocean to the north and the Lagoa de Óbidos basin to the south. The campsite is located in the tourist region of West Portugal and is surrounded by nature and beautiful, fine, golden sandy beaches with a high iodine content. It has shops, a swimming pool and vacation and weekend accommodation options.
The region offers a variety of interesting places to visit. You can visit the historical heritage, which includes a spa hospital, churches, chapels and museums; admire the traditional ceramics or the beautiful scenery of the beaches of Foz de Arelho and Salir do Porto. You can also play sports in the Lagoa de Óbidos, the largest and most beautiful lagoon on the Portuguese coast; or go hiking in Paúl de Tornada, in the Berlenga Island Nature Reserve.
